Foreign work permit in Edirne

The application is made online via e-Devlet (Turkey's e-Government portal) to the e-İzin system of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security (MoLSS), and the permit is issued for a specific workplace. As a rule, at least 5 Turkish citizens must be employed for each foreigner, the financial criterion must be met and a salary suited to the position must be declared. In Edirne, however, we often meet foreigners who may be exempt from some of these criteria:

If the employee already lives in Turkey, an application from within the country requires a residence permit valid for at least 6 months. Complete applications are usually concluded within 30 days; the first permit is granted for a maximum of 1 year, and the renewal window opens 60 days before the permit expires.

Because the Ministry assesses the health of the person to be cared for, an up-to-date medical or disability report is one of the most important documents in the file.
